Love is in the Air

Chloe is truly a gift from my Guardian Angels. My little fire cracker has forced me to learn and evolve in so many ways like becoming a boss at multi tasking and having a lot of patience and understanding that life’s challenges are happening for me, not to me. Miss Chloe really prepared me to be the best version of myself.

I rescued Chloe in June 2019 after she was abandoned at our local vet in Mexico. At just 3 months old Chloe was brutally attacked by street dogs, leaving her back legs paralyzed. It was such divine timing because just as Chloe was recovering from surgery I went to pick up one of my dogs from being spayed. The vet Isreal knew all about our sanctuary and the work we did for stray and abused dogs, and informed me Chloe was abandoned by her previous owners after realizing she couldn’t walk and she was going to be euthanized if I didn’t adopt her. Without hesitation or thinking of Chloe’s disabled manner I said I would take her home and scooped her tiny, fuzzy little body into my arms. I remember Chloe just full of so many happy kisses and jumping around like we always knew one another. I have never taken care of a dog with such extreme special needs and had no idea how much energy her breed has. But God knew she was exactly what I needed and we have been the best friends ever since. I quickly became a professional diaper changer as I found out the same month I rescued Chloe I was pregnant with my son Dante. Chloe has been the best addition in my little family and she was not only my emotional support through my sudden divorce in 2021, but also the horrific kidnapping of my son in 2022. Fast forward 2 years, Chloe ,Dante and myself have created an amazing new life together in Canada, where we are faced to adjust to extreme cold weather and dearly missing our Gigi Colleen,Papa Charlie and Aaron. However honestly as long as we three are together I know we will make this little life full of rainbows and sunshine☀️ I’m so grateful for my girl Chloe and her contagious love for life and her family. It’s been challenging as a single mom having to afford her constant monthly costs that includes medical care, hydro therapy( to gain more muscle to walk without her wheel chair, along with her diapers/ pee pads so if you feel inspired and motivated to sponsor or to donate I will have a link to our PayPal below. God bless and remember to be kind and pay it forward .

Love always Shaney,Chloe and Dante
