“All rescues at The Shire have either been found, abandoned, or saved from abusive homes. Many of them are severely ill and are diseased from lack of care. We have nursed back to health the vast majority of rescues, and the ones that are too far gone to bring back to health are given our full love before passing on to greener pastures and returning to God, our Creator of all things.”
