“Due to the wonderful generosity of donors on line, we have been able to build and expand to give each animal the healthiest and loving lifestyle possible. Thank you for being that light to bring proper care and love to God’s creations.”
“All rescues at The Shire have either been found, abandoned, or saved from abusive homes. Many of them are severely ill and are diseased from lack of care. We have nursed back to health the vast majority of rescues, and the ones that are too far gone to bring back to health are given our full love before passing on to greener pastures and returning to God, our Creator of all things.”
“We are a non profit sanctuary, 100% self-funded for the first seven years by Charlie and myself. After the number of rescues became too high for us to contend with, we reached out for support.”
